Early Years - London Cardiff Edinburgh

Welcome to Early Years!

Our Pre-School class (2 and 3 year old) is called London. Our teacher is Mrs Booker supported by Miss Bird and Mrs Cook. The morning session is from 8:20 to 11:20 and our afternoon session is from 12:00 to 3:00.

Our Nursery class (3- 4 year old - starting school September 2024) is called Cardiff. Our teacher is Mrs Booker supported by Miss Bird and Mrs Cook. The morning session is from 8:20 to 11:20 and our afternoon session is from 12:00 to 3:00. 30 hour funded spaces are available for 3 year olds who are eligible. Their hours are 8:20 to 3:00. For these children Friday afternoon session is available as an early finish, or paid session. 

Our Reception class is called Edinburgh. Our teacher is Miss Mitchell supported by Mrs Barnikel and Mrs Manktelow

Mrs Still also teaches in Early Years to cover planning time.  

Reception will do PE on a Wednesday and Friday morning. Children can come to school in their PE kit these days. 

Please remember that we do messy play daily. Send your child with clothes that you do not mind getting messy. Uniform is not essential in nursery and pre-school, but encouraged. 

Reception will have reading homework which will either be sound videos or reading books. This needs to be logged on the learning with parents website (link sent weekly). Green homework books are sent on Fridays to be returned on the following Thursday.
