Curriculum Information

In Term 6 we will be learning about our local area. We will develop our geography skills by using maps and compasses. We will begin to use Ordnance Survey maps and see how the UK is split into a grid and begin to give grid references. We will spot familiar places and give directions to and from local points of interest and look at the physical and human features of the area in which we live. We will look closer to identify rural and urban areas and whereabouts residential, commercial and agricultural areas are located.
