Kestrels

Welcome to Kestrels Class.

My name is Miss Grimwood and I am Kestrels class teacher. In our class we are also supported by Mrs Coulson, who is our TA.

In our class we aim to be confident, independent and resilient individuals.

We have PE on Thursday afternoons at 2pm, so all children will need a PE kit on that day. Children should be wearing navy or black jogging bottoms, a plain white t-shirt and a school jumper. It is important that your child has appropriate footwear for their PE lessons.

We change reading books daily so books will need to be in school every day so that children's books can be changed if needed. We encourage children to be reading regularly at home. If you child does not have a reading book at school, they are able to log onto MYON and choose a book to read.

Your child also has access to Times Tables rockstars and Freck for further learning opportunities. 

It is important that the children have the correct uniform, this includes no jewellery except ear studs and a watch.
